Psalm 103 (102): 1-2; 3-4; 9-10; 11-12. R.8

Psalm 103 praises the Lord who is ‘slow to anger and rich in mercy’, celebrating the God who heals, restores and ‘redeems your life from the grave’. On this Sunday, the psalm’s vision of boundless compassion prepares us for the readings, where Sirach urges forgiveness from the heart, and the Gospel reveals Jesus calling his disciples to mirror the Father’s mercy by forgiving without limit.
