Psalm 27(26): 1; 4; 13-14. R. 1a

Psalm 27 is chosen for the third Sunday in Ordinary Time because it expresses, more clearly than almost any other psalm, the longing for God’s light, God’s presence, and God’s guidance, all of which are central themes in the Sunday’s readings.
