Canticle from Isaiah 12

This canticle is a song of joy and thanksgiving, very appropriate for ‘Gaudete’ or ‘Rejoicing’ Sunday. Its themes clearly link to the Advent anticipation of Christ’s birth and the ultimate joy of His coming.
