Psalm 147: 12-13; 14-15; 19-20. R.12a

Psalm 147 praises God for feeding and strengthening His people, celebrating the Lord who ‘gives you your fill of finest wheat’ and makes His word known to Israel. On the feast of Corpus Christi, this psalm perfectly echoes the Gospel’s revelation of Christ as the Bread of Life, drawing a direct line between God’s care for Israel and the gift of the Eucharist that nourishes and unites the Church today.
