Psalm 27(26): 1; 7-8ab; 8c-9abc; 13-14. R.1a

Psalm 27 is chosen for today because it resonates deeply with the themes of trust, hope and longing for God’s presence, key ideas in both the psalm itself and the Gospel reading (the Transfiguration). The psalm invites us to reflect on God as our guiding light in times of uncertainty, which is particularly fitting for this Lenten season of spiritual journey and renewal.
