Psalm 85(84): 9ab,10; 11-12; 13-14. R.8

A key theme of psalm 85 is peace. We look to God to bring peace to our world. Sadly, this is as relevant today as it was when the psalm was written. It is easy to despair when we hear relentlessly bad news of violence and war around the world. However, each of us has the ability to spread peace to those around us. We should always seek to do so to help build God’s kingdom here on earth.
