Psalm 77

The central theme of psalm 77 is God’s actions throughout salvation history. It recounts how God’s people turned away, sinned and yet received mercy and forgiveness. Christ’s self-emptying and obedience to death on the cross exemplify God’s love for humanity. We remain in need of God’s love and mercy today.
