Psalm 118(117): 1-2; 16-17; 22-23. R.24

Psalm 118 is the main psalm associated with Easter Day (it is also used for the Second Sunday of Easter). It is a celebratory psalm in which God transforms humiliation into exaltation. A key line is ‘I shall not die, I shall live’, reminding us of the triumph Jesus’ resurrection has gained for us.
