Psalm 51 (50)

Psalm 51 is a powerful expression of repentance and our need for God’s mercy. We acknowledge our sinfulness and turn to God for his forgiveness. By tradition, it was written by King David after the prophet Nathan confronted him over his erroneous ways. The response is: Have mercy of us, O Lord, for we have sinned.
